{"id":10446,"date":"2025-04-24T19:31:19","date_gmt":"2025-04-24T17:31:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rescop.freepresshost.cloud\/?p=10446"},"modified":"2025-04-24T19:34:04","modified_gmt":"2025-04-24T17:34:04","slug":"nota_rescop_contrato_balas_abril_2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rescop.freepresshost.cloud\/eu\/bds\/nota_rescop_contrato_balas_abril_2025\/","title":{"rendered":"La rescisi\u00f3n del contrato de compra de balas a Israel: un paso necesario pero insuficiente"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nota de Prensa<br \/>RESCOP, 24 de abril de 2025<\/p>\n<p>Desde la <strong>Campa\u00f1a por el Embargo de Armas a Israel<\/strong>, celebramos que el Gobierno espa\u00f1ol haya anunciado que est\u00e1 buscando una f\u00f3rmula para rescindir el contrato de compra de balas de 9mm adjudicado a la empresa israel\u00ed <strong><em>Guardian Defense<\/em><\/strong> (filial de <strong><em>Elbit Systems<\/em><\/strong>), por valor de 6,6 millones de euros. Esta decisi\u00f3n llega tras una intensa presi\u00f3n social y pol\u00edtica, y demuestra que la movilizaci\u00f3n funciona. Estaremos pendientes y vigilantes de que realmente se cancele, ya que el Gobierno ha mentido con anterioridad.<br \/>Sin embargo, no es suficiente. El Gobierno espa\u00f1ol a\u00fan mantiene activos al menos nueve contratos con empresas israel\u00edes del sector armament\u00edstico que deben ser cancelados inmediatamente, as\u00ed como cualquier otro tipo de colaboraci\u00f3n militar con Israel. E<strong>n los \u00faltimos meses el Gobierno ha destinado m\u00e1s de 1000 millones de dinero p\u00fablico a empresas militares y de seguridad israel\u00edes<\/strong>.<br \/>Comprar armas a Israel es comprar un modelo de seguridad construido sobre el <strong>colonialismo, la ocupaci\u00f3n ilegal, el genocidio y el apartheid<\/strong>. Esto no es s\u00f3lo un tema de solidaridad con Palestina, responde a qu\u00e9 modelo de seguridad queremos y en este contexto de rearme mundial en el que Israel es una clara potencia exportadora, desde <strong>RESCOP<\/strong> y la c<strong>ampa\u00f1a por el Fin al Comercio de Armas con Israel<\/strong> rechazamos tajantemente este enfoque de seguridad militarizado que pasa por encima de los derechos m\u00e1s fundamentales y que implica un aumento muy elevado de gasto militar.<br \/>Hoy hablamos de las compras, pero hace tan solo unos d\u00edas volv\u00edamos a denunciar el rol- de los <strong>puertos estatales en apuntalar la log\u00edstica del genocidio<\/strong>. This decision comes after intense social and political pressure, and shows that mobilisation works. We will be vigilant and watchful that it is actually cancelled, as the government has lied before. However, it is not enough. The Spanish government still has at least nine active contracts with Israeli arms companies that must be cancelled immediately, as well as any other type of military collaboration with Israel. In recent months the government has allocated more than 1 billion of public money to Israeli military and security companies. Buying arms from Israel is buying a security model built on colonialism, illegal occupation, genocide and apartheid. This is not only an issue of solidarity with Palestine, it responds to what security model we want and in this context of global rearmament in which Israel is a clear exporting power, from RESCOP and the campaign for an End to Arms Trade with Israel we categorically reject this militarised security approach that ignores the most fundamental rights and involves a very high increase in military spending. Today we are talking about procurement, but only a few days ago we were again denouncing the role of state ports in supporting the logistics of genocide. The level of seriousness of the crimes that Israel is committing in Palestine is indescribable and the arms embargo is only the first step in breaking the complicities that are making this genocide possible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Therefore, from the Campaign for the Arms Embargo on Israel we demand:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Urgent approval of an arms embargo on Israel, via Decree Law or reform of Law 53\/2007, which guarantees a stable, automatic and binding legal framework. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Immediate cancellation without compensation of all military contracts with Israeli or international companies that contribute directly or indirectly to maintaining the genocide or illegal occupation of Palestine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Prohibition of new allotments and revocation of existing ones. No more sale, no more purchase and no more transit of arms through our territory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Enforcement of measures against the assistance of State ports in the arms trade with Israel, such as denial of transit, requirement of transparency in cargoes and ex officio inspection of suspect vessels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> 5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Suspension of all institutional, training or logistical cooperation with the Israeli colonial, genocidal, occupying and apartheid regime. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Exclude all Israeli companies from participating in fairs or in any public space in our territory. RESCOP, the Campaign to Stop the Arms Trade and the more than 600 organisations that are part of the campaign are clear: we do not want to be accomplices to genocide or apartheid.
