{"id":10699,"date":"2025-05-20T21:12:19","date_gmt":"2025-05-20T19:12:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rescop.freepresshost.cloud\/?p=10699"},"modified":"2025-05-20T21:12:19","modified_gmt":"2025-05-20T19:12:19","slug":"primer_paso_hacia_embargo_armas_israel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rescop.freepresshost.cloud\/ca\/acciones\/primer_paso_hacia_embargo_armas_israel\/","title":{"rendered":"Hoy se da el primer paso en el camino hacia el embargo de armas a Israel."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Hoy se da el primer paso en el camino hacia el embargo de armas a Israel.<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Es una gran noticia, aunque el tr\u00e1mite se puede demorar y no responde a la urgencia que hay en Palestina.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>El Gobierno podr\u00eda decretar un embargo v\u00eda Real Decreto Ley ma\u00f1ana.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hoy el Congreso de los Diputados da luz verde a que se debata en sede parlamentaria la reforma a la actual Ley sobre el control del comercio exterior de armas (Ley 53\/2007), permitiendo, entre otras, que se imponga de manera autom\u00e1tica un embargo de armas integral a Estados investigados por cr\u00edmenes de guerra, de lesa humanidad o por crimen de genocidio, como es el caso de Israel.<\/p>\n<p>Esta Proposici\u00f3n de Ley fue presentada en julio de 2024 a iniciativa de la <a href=\"https:\/\/finalcomerciodearmasconisrael.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Campa\u00f1a \u201c<strong><em>Fin al Comercio de Armas con Israel\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, contando con el apoyo de m\u00e1s de 600 organizaciones de la sociedad civil y liderada por la <strong>RESCOP<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>La votaci\u00f3n ha contado con los<strong> votos a favor de la totalidad de grupos parlamentarios<\/strong>, a excepci\u00f3n de PP, UPN y Vox.<\/p>\n<p>Este avance hist\u00f3rico no habr\u00eda sido posible sin la movilizaci\u00f3n constante de la sociedad civil, que lleva meses exigiendo el fin de la complicidad con el genocidio en Palestina. La presi\u00f3n popular ha demostrado su fuerza durante estos 19 meses con concentraciones mensuales coordinadas en m\u00e1s de 100 ciudades a la vez, con m\u00e1s de 100.000 personas en las calles de Madrid el pasado 10 de mayo. Este incansable trabajo ha llegado incluso hasta el seno de las Naciones Unidas. <strong>\u00a1La presi\u00f3n funciona, y por eso debemos aumentarla!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El Congreso tiene la responsabilidad de avanzar en el tr\u00e1mite parlamentario y garantizar que Espa\u00f1a ponga fin al comercio de armas con un Estado genocida que vulnera sistem\u00e1ticamente el Derecho Internacional y los Derechos Humanos.<\/p>\n<p>La reforma que se plantea es m\u00e1s necesaria que nunca en un contexto de rearme global, de aumento de la militarizaci\u00f3n y de la violencia estructural en todo el mundo. Palestina es el ejemplo m\u00e1s doloroso de por qu\u00e9 necesitamos una legislaci\u00f3n mucho m\u00e1s rigurosa y garantista con el cumplimiento de los derechos humanos. <b>Es un paso importante, pero no es una respuesta urgente<\/b> al genocidio contra el pueblo palestino.<\/p>\n<p>El inicio del tr\u00e1mite parlamentario de esta ley es una gran noticia. Este tr\u00e1mite es s\u00f3lo el inicio, puede demorarse mucho, y no tiene efectos inmediatos pese a la urgencia de la situaci\u00f3n en Palestina. <b>Por esto, exigimos al Gobierno que decrete inmediatamente un embargo integral de armas a Israel v\u00eda Real Decreto Ley. Pasar de las palabras a los hechos es la \u00fanica opci\u00f3n.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>El Gobierno podr\u00eda decretar un embargo de armas a Israel ma\u00f1ana<\/b>,<b> \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 no lo hace? \u00bfQu\u00e9 le impide hacerlo?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>No dejaremos de movilizarnos hasta conseguir que se acaben las importaciones, exportaciones, los tr\u00e1nsitos y el resto de formas de cooperaci\u00f3n militar con Israel.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Hoy hemos dado un gran paso, pero la lucha contin\u00faa. Among other things, this reform would allow for an automatic and comprehensive arms embargo on countries under investigation for war crimes, crimes against humanity or genocide \u2014 such as Israel.<\/p>\n<p>The bill was introduced in July 2024 at the initiative of the <a href=\"https:\/\/finalcomerciodearmasconisrael.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>\u201c<em>Stop Arming Israel\u201d<\/em> campaign,<\/strong><\/a> with the backing of more than 600 civil society organisations and led by RESCOP (the Spanish Network Against the Occupation of Palestine).<\/p>\n<p>The vote passed with the <strong>support of all parliamentary groups,<\/strong> except for the PP, UPN and Vox.<\/p>\n<p>This historic breakthrough would not have been possible without the tireless mobilisation of civil society, which for months has been demanding an end to complicity in the genocide in Palestine.<\/p>\n<p>Popular pressure has shown its strength over these 19 months, with monthly coordinated protests in over 100 cities and more than 100,000 people on the streets of Madrid on 10 May.<\/p>\n<p>This relentless work has even reached the United Nations. Pressure works \u2014 and that\u2019s why we must keep it up.<\/p>\n<p>Now, Parliament has the responsibility to move this legislative process forward and ensure that Spain stops trading arms with a genocidal state that systematically violates international law and human rights.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This reform is more necessary than ever in a context of global rearmament, rising militarisation, and widespread structural violence.<\/p>\n<p>Palestine is the clearest and most painful example of why we need much stricter legislation to guarantee respect for human rights.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s an important step \u2014 but it is not the urgent response that the genocide against the Palestinian people requires.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The start of this legislative process is good news. But it\u2019s only the beginning. It could take a long time, and has no immediate effect despite the urgency of the situation in Palestine.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why we demand the government immediately impose a full arms embargo on Israel through a Royal Decree.<\/p>\n<p>Turning words into action is the only option.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The government could impose an arms embargo on Israel tomorrow \u2014 so why hasn\u2019t it?
